Just picked up a Minelab Sovereign Elite for beach hunting. I was waiting for some good tides to hit the beach early this week but ended up taking it out to one of my old sites for a test drive. I've pulled Seated and Barbers from this site but no such luck this trip. Nothing spectacular, a couple of Indians, some Wheat's, a foreign coin, A buckle (W.S.C)? a big sterling silver brooch and silver ring. I smell some beach gold coming this week.

Nice coins, I just bought a Minelab Elite as well and I am going threw the learning stage of it. Seems like it's going to take some time. I have used in my yard and so far I have been picking up aluminum items an a penny. I just go it yesterday in the mail. Could you give me pointers on what you have experienced with it so far, thanks :hello:

WSC= Washington State Cougars / College did not attain university level until the late 1960's or early 70's. That is one interesting buckle. other finds not too shabby either. HHHH
