The $5.50 thrift store table

I bought this table at a thrift store on Tuesday for $5.50
It was made by Lane on March 28, 1955 and not in that bad of condition for the age...

amazingly enough, all kinds of great furniture was made here in the good ole U. S. of A. before someone invented glueboard and sawdust crapola.

The jobs fed a lot of folks too.

That's a great looking piece, I'll give ya 6.00 for it (american fiat money)?

That table looks like something you would see on the 'Road show on PBS,and then you would find out it's worth $50,000. :laughing7: :icon_scratch:

I dig the table and It's 100 times sturdier then my crappy China made kitchen table....
