Went out today by myself and found to hot wheels very rough condition .43 in change. It was so hot and humid I called it quits after about 2 hours. No silver yet but it's coming. You can really tell those bottle caps I dug a couple to be sure. Don't think they will fool me again. I was so hot I drove around doing some scouting. Two of the pennies I found were wheats. I got permission from an old house site and a old rail road camp no tracks there anymore the owner turned some of it into a grass runway for his plane. Both said I can keep anything I find.

I have permission on an old school to but haven't been there yet. The owner likes to talk a lot so I don't get much detecting done there. Lol good guy though.

With the bottle caps you can tell right? I said it to my self too after picking and predicting about 15 of them it was a bottle cap.

There are some,, I've found them, just not many. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know. I get really frustrated when I read or watch videos of people going to an old house site and finding a pocketful of old coins.

BigHoss, the At Pro would be a good upgrade from what you are using - Much more ID information. The coins on the old homesites will come, but a lot of them didn't lose much money. Let me know if I can help you with your purchase.

I'm debating whether I need one or not I don't detect in rocks. Just grass, dirt and fresh water with muddy bottoms.

Little pebbles, tiny rocks and small sticks etc. Mine is already getting scratches.

I figured I invested almost $900 on this hobby why not $12.70 more. Lol
