Revolutionary War artifacts can be found at Springfield Battle site,2 mi. S. of Springfield off hgwy 78. Two separate battles were fought here in 1780
Location C:Gloucester Co.
During the Revolutionary War, Church officials buried the valuables & Treasury to keep it from being confiscated, at theOld Swedes Church 3 ac. site in present day Swedesboro This happened in the 1700's. as of record, it has not been recovered.
Location D:Sussex Co.
$100,000 is buried in the, take your pick, there are two versions of this story.
Miser farmer version- Otter Rutten Farm Near Andover.
Robber version- Aurthur Barry Farm.
