Found this one last fall, but got another one today so I'll use this pic. The proprieter's name is on the back so I didn't have too much trouble IDing the token. Looked him up in the city directory from 1899. He was a beer distributor for a brewery in Cincinatti. He had a "sampling room" on the premises as well as a bowling alley and owned a couple other businesses as well.

Wouldn't doubt it civilman. I imagine being a "sampling room" for promotional purposes, the beers were probably discounted somewhat, I probably could have drank all day on those 2 chips.
