Not starting this as a political discussion.
All I have is limited info from following article:

https://www.nbc15.com/content/news/...ers-bedroom-Madison-police-say-565484072.html

Can't believe 2 gangs are such bad shooters.
Story doesn't add up to me.

So, 2 gangs have a shootout, it is known they fired at least 45 rounds.
Found 45 shell casings around the neighborhood.
If they were in cars and people were shooting out of left side, those shells would have most likely ejected into the cars, there could have been even more shots fired, in that case.

Out of those 45 shots, they managed to nearly shoot a child and shoot up a bunch of cars and houses.
There were no reports of injury.
So, apparently no gang members were shot.

Sounds more to me like somebody riding around and shooting up the hood.
Unless those 2 "groups" are the worst shooters I can imagine.

Can anybody be that bad of a shoot?

Nothing whatsoever.

This is a General Discussion thread.

Let's see, we'll talk about everything from how to catch a boa:

http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/general-discussion/621664-boa-hunting-cat-how-trap.html

To beautiful bald eagles:

http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/g...47-i-need-rescue-here-eagles-have-landed.html

Oh, but we do have a lesson on how to get a possum out of a live trap with a pinpointer.
Too funny, dirtlooter.
Thanks for live trapping.
I going to put that in the treasure related category.
So i guess I can't count that as non treasure hunting related.
Cause there was a pinpointer involved.

http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/g...-stupid-possum-but-pin-pointer-saves-day.html

So, as you can see. We discuss a wide range of subjects.
That's why is called a General Discussion forum.
You know, we kinda talk about all kinds of different stuff.
It is not a requirement posts be related to treasure hunting.

If you are only interested in treasure hunting, I suggest this part of the forum.
It is more oriented toward treasure hunting.

Treasure Hunting

Hope you wake up in a better mood tomorrow.

it is more about how many rounds you fired off, the thrill of the loud bang, the adrenaline rush. It takes practice for the longer shots and if you are too busy jerking and flinching your shots, anything is possible. and yes this is the general discussion forum. Most hits by shooter to intended victim is at quite close range unless a rifle is involved(most of the time). So they tend to sling lead versus actually aiming.

Yeah, a total disregard for innocent others. Maybe they could organize annual get togethers, like the Rendezvous of old. Set up a course, like paintball, and let them go at it with their real weapons. I would pay to watch that.

This reminds me of reading a Che Guevara biography some time ago. One of his desires was 'to start a thousand vietnams'.... Anyway , he tried a few times here in Africa. After some failed training , he realised that the natives were unable to close one eye and aim with the other....:laughing7:

I have always shot with both eyes open. It's a lot easier that way.

I was on a jury with some gang stuff. The cheap guns that they often use can't even shoot straight. I didn't know that. It may have been like using a muzzle loader back in the 1700's.
