Many rock piles grace this hilltop. There are also grave type pilings so I keep it private. Of course I would never dig in a grave but I do intend to detect this area soon. Recently I took this pic then noticed what looked like a soaring eagle shape in the tree behind it. The rocks in the pic could be a grave but doesn't look like the others. It could have been a spring box or even a stove. This is on the same hill where I've found over 30 tree carvings. I also realize this one could be natures doing.

A snake head. That actually makes more sense. As soon as I can get back up there I'm taking more pics.

I'm thinking of a family hike up there when this hot weather breaks. Picnic, leaf blower and metal detectors. There is a place I have a feeling about about half way up. I'll be sure to come back to this post.
