I don't know how we do it sometimes...
We didn't plan to return to this site but because our grass option turned out so bad, we had to re-think. The only area left was a really rough ankle breaker & it was right on the side of the "Hunted Out Site". As it turns out the Roman Silver was way too early for this late site & in an area we hardly ever covered as it was so void of finds! This keeps our silver coin record on this field, 11 for 11.(Silver Streak 13 for 13)
5.5 hrs gridding & my ankles hurt from rolling so much, but it was worth it;

2 Scrappies - Takes us to exactly 300 so far this year with 11 Roman Silver (high silver-to-bronze ratio)
1912 Greek Coin
Blank Silver Shilling
Denarius of Vespasian AD75.

You don't see coins of Vespasian very much. One of the emperors everyone heard of. Nice find, congrats!

That’s a high silver to bronze ratio.
Well worth the Ankle pain.

Amazing finds again. It would be worth the sore ankles for sure!!! Congrats! :occasion14:
