The key to Polk's administration

It was a frustrating day! First, this James Polk coin, which at first appeared to be a half dollar, wasn't. It doesn't identify which company put it out, but I'm certain that someone here will know. Then, this key was ringing a solid 90 (half dollar) at 6 inches. I was drooling over the plug and caught a glimpse of the round part of the key; "Silver"! But it wasn't. There's always tomorrow for dreams to come true.

I cannot count the number of times I've seen something round and wilvery (?) in the ground, only to discover it was less than what I had hoped for...a flattened bottle cap, a juice bottle lid, or a washer. Still, it's a great thrill for a split second!!! Better luck next time, halfdime. :)

Thats what fun about this hobby. You never know for sure until you get it out of the hole.
