The most silver coins I've ever dug in Oregon in one hunt!

Ever done TOO much detecting in one day? Yeah? Well, that's exactly what I did yesterday! . . . . I played hooky from work and took a drive up to Portland. I detected straight from about 9:00 am until 4:00 pm (only took a couple "potty" breaks). I am moving my mom back to Eugene from Portland ~ so I went early yesterday and detected all day, then I picked up my mom and we headed back to Eugene.

Here's what I dug:
1917 Canadian half dime
Large 10.4 gram STERLING ring with a stone of some sort
1953-S Washington Quarter
1920-S Merc Dime
1929 Merc dime
1935-S Merc dime
1937-S Merc dime
1958-D Rosie dime
1964-D Rosie dime
1910 V nickel
1945-S War nickel
2000-D Sac dollar
26 wheat cents dating from 1918 to 1958
28 clad quarters
23 clad dimes
6 modern nickels
65 copper memorial cents
Aluminum SHELL gas station Presidential game "coin"

I'm loving this MineLab eTrac! I can detect directly under power lines and the detector was working just fine. These same areas in Portland I worked with other detectors in the past and I had to move on to other areas because of the interference from the overhead power lines was too much!

THANKS for looking!
Neil

Who's the person on the shell token? Mine was Alexander Bell when I found it. Ironically he was the person who invented the Metal Detector.

Lol, I played the Shell game when it was happening! In fact I even found one myself the other day. Congrats on the silvers, a lot of S coins and to top it off a big silver ring! WTG

Yeah! My best day ever was in Idaho the day Dez & Burke got married ~ I dug 15 silver coins all before the reception! HA HA HA!!!

We totally got to sneak out of work one of these weekdays and head up to Portland!

Did you catch any fish on your trip?!

Oh yeah ~ I'm needing to get some mushrooms too ~ SO YUMMY!!

Have detected with several brands for 20 some years. Been working with the E-trac for about 5 days. I just don't understand it! Running in stock coin mode all I dig is aluminum. I don't understand the numbers at all, try to dig all 12's with little luck except junk. Comments appreciated.
