Update...

State of emergency declared in Pinellas County... I sure others will follow suit.

Steady medium rain has been going all day... and will continue.

High tides are concern... as we are over three above normal already.

Wind is concern... water is higher concern.

Overall storm is loosing its circulation tightness which is good... does not seem to be strengthening.

Thanks for the update ARC.
Sticky boot day out in the field today.
Needed gas this morning, dropped the phone, now I have a smashed lower corner with radiating cracks across the screen.

Storm is weakening... and getting less and less organized... thank goodness...

Now its just tornado watch after tornado watches... and of course winds pushing water in will be the top concerns.

Having some vegetarian lasagna for supper tonight with a side salad. I'll see if I can find a similar recipe for the crew.

Ok... I take back the "weakening" after I have been watching loops over and over infrared etc... I see it trying to get another tight eye.... which would not be a sign of strengthening like they stated earlier.

I really have to just do my own assessments using my own tools instead of just listening to theories from the news weather people... I know better even.
