GMorn everbody, my Eskimo friends that live in the Alaskan wilderness drink “nettles tea” to help combat them. Ask your local Seminole tribe card holder for local poison tree advise, you might ask for some next year Super Bowl odds too...
I need to make a cross over bridge where to slough meets the river, winter harvested the old one, half dozen cinder blocks and some scraped coral lumber.

Nasty $hit that stuff is Bart.

Yesterday I was chatting with one of the contractors and the Poison Ivy/Oak topic came up and he said that the other working partner can walk through it all day-zippo effect on him.
(I was going to say it was because of his blood/alcohol content seems to work) :occasion14::laughing7:

Now the Mrs can just think about the stuff and it's full on blistering......
I used to be the same way... I would NEVER get it unless I literally rubbed it on my skin (I actually did once) but then one day after doing yardwork and working with some poison ivy that all changed and I got it bad. My face swelled up and I could barely open my eyes, my fingers looked like sausages, and one of my arms was pretty much covered. What happened? I have no idea. :dontknow:

I seem to get into the poison sumacs frequently.

It's not to difficult to treat- take 25 or 50mg of Benadryl three time a day and keep washing it with Dawn Dish detergent. You want detergent, it'll dissolve the oil better than soap. Cold water. Don't scrub, that'll just spread it around. The Benadryl is an antihistamine and might make you drowsy but it will slow or stop the allergic reaction.

Had a friend bring me one of my favorite Bahamian treats....after enjoying that we broke out some rum from our distillery !! Turns out the latest spiced rum batch is the most smooth and best rum we've ever produced !! Its really starting to be a contender at the rum tasting shows !! So good !!
