Hope all is well with the foraging and the sky watering program.

We had a tad over an inch the night before which really got sucked up well, and it looks like there's another good spell of moisture over the next few days.
I got a quart of Black Raspberries on Sunday and another on Monday so the patches are producing nicely.

Stopped yesterday at a buddies place and he has 2 patches in the yard-full-ripe-over ripe-"I just pick a few off if I walk by them-don't bother picking them"
Gee what a waste of a bounty of berries I was thinking.
Oh well not my yard-not my berries (Kind of wishing I had them though)

I'm finding in my couple of patches the young vines are the guards of the patches-seem to grab/poke/take blood samples when ever the opportunity is given.
Picking on Monday I reached for a nice grouping of 4 in the bottom back-there was a dripping red from the tip if the index.
Started to use the middle finger and thumb-yup another sample given!
Ok this is getting challenging two tips a bleeding, now I was now using the ring finger and thumb

Well... one tree branch down... one hanging precariously from low limb...

Both now in the "pile".

Flooding non existent... And i am not that wet from the recon... yep... all is well on the home front.
