Talking about needles/shots/vaccines....Something to think about...
Well known Duke hospital/university in N.C. has one of the leading research labs in the country for this covid thing.
Duke now has a major shortage of Doctors, why?
Seems these Doctors refuse to take (the hospitals mandatory) Covid vaccine.
This info per a Doctor yesterday at Duke.
Wonder why ?

Roger,
Kind of funny when you think of it....lol. They were trained in medical science and the vaccines were tweeked and tested by their peers in similar fields.
I got my shots I'll play the odds and get protected from the worst effects of covid and let the chips fall where they may.

Hardline is a band created by brothers Johnny Gioeli and Joey Gioeli, who had previously played in the bands Killerhit and Brunette, starred in the unreleased Roman Coppola film 'Smash Crash & Burn' as the band Royal Smash, and later played in the band Gravity, and have since returned to Hardline.

The band originally also included guitarist Neal Schon of Journey and Bad English, bassist Todd Jensen (ex-Sequel), and drummer Deen Castronovo.[2] The group's sound was a mainstream commercialized mixture of glam metal and AOR.

Two of the group's first songs were played in the movie Rapid Fire which starred Brandon Lee, the son of martial arts expert, Bruce Lee, at the actor's request.

King Kobra is an American heavy metal band founded by drummer Carmine Appice after his tenure with Ozzy Osbourne from 1983 to 1984. For their first two albums, the band consisted of four relatively unknown musicians: vocalist Marcie Free, guitarist David Michael-Philips, guitarist Mick Sweda, and bassist Johnny Rod. After two albums on Capitol RecordsReady to Strike (November 9, 1985) and Thrill of a Lifetime (1986)—and the independent release King Kobra III in 1988, Appice decided to dissolve the band and join guitarist John Sykes for his Blue Murder project in 1989.

A new King Kobra emerged in 2010 with Carmine Appice on drums, Paul Shortino taking over vocal duties, Mick Sweda on guitar, David Henzerling (a.k.a. David Michael-Philips) on guitar, and Johnny Rod on bass. This lineup released the self-titled album King Kobra in 2011 on Frontiers Records and another album in 2013, titled King Kobra II.

The band went on hiatus following the release of their 2013 album, largely due to the other commitments of the individual band members. They played live gigs again in 2016 without Mick Sweda.

Taxxi were an English rock band best known for the song "I'm Leaving". The band formed in the late 1970s and first came to prominence in the early 1980s with a few minor AOR hit singles and some MTV airplay.

The band received club play in France with the album tracks "Not Me Girl", "Girl (New York City)" and "Metro Boulot Dodo". Their most successful U.S. album was States Of Emergency,[1] which featured three tracks that received rock radio airplay: the aforementioned "I'm Leaving", "Cocktail Queen (Don't She Love To Rock & Roll)" and "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter". "Still In Love" was remixed for a 12" single which received minor club airplay in the U.S.

Belated hello to the crew. Couldn't get on this a.m. before heading off for a day trip.

On the bright side near home there's a municipal site that's always fenced off and looks like they're doing either some landscaping/resodding or some other overhaul. The fence is gone so tomorrrow morning it's on my list to hit first thing.
Look forward to seeing any interesting finds Bill.
