Decided to hit the field before work today. First hunt this year. 5 minutes into it I'm holding this. Looks to be an 1838. My 5th large cent from this field. Can't wait to get back out there.

Yes, but it will be back again, I'm sure. I's totally gone here in Ohio too. The ground is actually doable now but muddy. Nice thaw we had. Nice LC you found. Good start to 2011
