Somewhere around 10 inches of snow today, and still snowing. It's our first big snow of the winter, so it's kinda nice. Roads should be plowed by morning, and About 45 minutes with the big snowblower and the driveway will all cleaned up.

Here's what happens when it's 50 degrees one day and it snows the next day! It started out as rain, but the temperature quickly dropped into the low 30's, which made for very heavy snow. Only got around 8 inches, but the weight of the snow is breaking tons of branches and tree limbs in my area.

My garage is old and leaning anyway, but at least I could work on my car in there. Seems to be leaning even more now, so I'm going to start removing all my tools from it ASAP.

Here's one more photo to show the size of the tree limb that fell.

Wow! Your lucky there's not more damage!
We got 9" of the heavy wet stuff, and they are talking 8" more for a Mon-Wed event...I hope that's the end if it!

Yup, I'm really surprised that the garage is still standing. I'm sure that limb must weigh at least 500 pounds. Going to have to borrow a friend's chainsaw tomorrow and cut it up before the next storm!

....uh,...up date on the snow totals. If you live any where with in 10 mile radius of me....I feel bad for Ya! :D
Better batton down, button up, gas up the snow blowers & gather the snow shovels! It seems mother nature has decided to dump the jackpot in my area...and it's not gold!
They are now saying 12-14".

Anybody have a snow to gold formula? :sly:

That he's gonna "be" dinner if it doesn't stop snowing!

We didn't get nearly as much snow as they said we would...but it's still snowing, was supposed to stop an hour ago.

The weekend high temps will barely be in the teens, night temps -5. Brrrrr!
That surely will turn the white stuff, covering everything...to cement!
