Hello All,

I took advantage of the break from the cold we've had here lately, and was able to get out Saturday to a beautiful mid 50 degree day.

I went back to a <10 acre property I've been mapping for 11 months that usually yields a couple of interesting finds per outing.

Today, the 26th 3 Groove Minie, 2nd J-Hook, and an ugly chunk with faceting that may be whittling. If carved, I should be seeing the squirrel.

Opinions on whether the chunk was whittled or not?

Good hunt. It could be carved, hard to tell from the picture.
Nice finds [emoji106]

Yak, nice finds and saves on some nice Georgia CW History. Well Done. Love to find those knapsack J' hooks, but I haven't found one in quite a while.

Like Relic Nut Said , It is a tuff call from the picture but I do think I see some cutting evidence on the nose & it does seem
that the bottom half would break, melt , impact into that pattern , but YNK as bullets do some strange things.

Also like devildog I love digging the 'J' hooks I have not got many but have got 1 in the last 2 years.

Nice 3 ringer too , I wonder if it was 'Nose cast' or 'Side' cast ; in the picture it kinda has the look of both.???

GD & God Bless
