As the title insinuates it was a real mix bag this weekend, it was also a time we felt we were chasing our tail . so breaking it down
the ugly: I usually dont get skunked at a detecting site but out of 15 sites 8 I found nada, zip, el skunko
that didnt include the the 7 spots we checked and didnt hunt because of folks on the areas, or the 2 totlots that had all their equipment removed
the bad: our total clad finds for the weekend were off bobbie ended up with $7.82 and I ended up with $5.05.
the different with a question: at our 2nd spot today I eyeballed what looked like a childs show and tell goodies: I think they are sharks teeth but I would appreciate any info anybody can offer conserning these. Also in the baggie was a bead. it looks like it was a polished stone with what looks like gold flecks in it. Again any info what this might be is always appreciate it
the good: now just because we ran all over and didnt fill our pockets with clad doesnt mean we didnt make a few good finds I added 1-gold ring 14k, 1-silver ring 1-14k earring, Bobbie found 14k pendant and a ring that looks like a class ring but says play top gun sports concord nc world champions 2008
well time to head back towork and wait for next weekend to arrive, congrats to all
