This weekends Play Ground Finds 2 rings

Just wanted to tell everyone that I finall found my first ring yesterday. I went back this morning and found another one. The first one is a small silver one and the second is just silver plate. I still have a lot of playground to go. I also found about 3 dollars in clad. Not too bad for 2 hours of work. I will try to post some pics tomorrow.

Congrats on your first 2 rings. I've only found a total of three in 12 months of detecting now, so they aren't that easy to find.

Thanks. I have been detecting for about a year and a half. I have found civil war artifacts which is my main interest but I just read the new issue of Western and Eastern Treasure and it got me fired up to find a good ring. I have been waiting to get on this playground. During the school year they keep it locked and school just let out Friday!!

The first one is the sweetest, they come easier as time goes by.............at least it seems that way for me. WTG, keep getting em, just save a few for the rest of us schmucks!
