This week's finds, little slow, but happy ending...

Did two boxes of nickels and one bag this week on the way to my goal of 200 war nics by year's end also did one box of halves. Results:

Bag of nics: 1935 Buffalo in very nice shape. My daughter could see it before we even opened the bag. She was very excited. It's in her collection now along with the Spanish Pesata coin we found. Also found one war nic

Box 1 of nics: 2 war nics. Both 1943 P. Nice shape.

Box 2 of nics: Skunk! for war nics. Did find some pre-1960s.

Box of halves: 1 1969D 40%er and over a roll of 1982D halves all in BU shape. I kept them.

I checked the 1982D halves and BU rolls were going for good money on EBAY. Guess I'll hold on to them long term.

Finally, went to the bank in Wal Mart yesterday and asked for halves. This bank has been a slow but consistent producer. Anyways, got $4 in halves from one of the tellers including another 1969D.

Off on a two week trip for work next week. Hope to find more silver than my last road trip.

HSH to everyone on the forum!
