I am unable to post a picture of my find so I will describe it.
The object is a lady's compact made of metal. It is 1 1/2" in diameter and about 1/2" high.There is a mirror inside the lid.The case is made of brass,flat on the bottom,slightly domed on top.Both top and bottom are are embossed with small rings superimposed over straight lines.The outside of the case is colored red,the inside is tin plated.It is marked Three flowers New York-Paris,on the hinge is Made in the USA.
Doing a Google search showed Three Flowers to be a perfume brand owned by House of Clasps in NYC, NY.House of Clasps is a jewellery maker.Their web site does not mention it.
Anyone have any knowlege of this product?
