Yard/garage selling is good business when times are tuff. It is also a great way to clean the clutter that I have been wanting to get rid of for a long time.
The guy bid 30K then emails me about four days later stating that he just got laid off. Really nothing I can do. That is the one thing I hate about Ebay, it really is not a binding contract even if they say it is. Couldn't do that at any other public auction.
I had a similar problem a while back. Set my sights real low and bought a Toyota Tacoma new for 11 grand. The Truck payment, insurance, registration and gas was cheaper then what I was paying for gas alone in the Ram. On occasion I had to use a little trailer that I picked up at harbor freight for carrying more stuff. Turned out I liked the truck better and it was more convenient to unhook the trailer with materials at the site rather then load and unload. Best of luck
