Couldnt stand it any more,so I drove to the sandy side of the pennisula hopeing for some bare spots and assuming sandy soil would be possible to dig.Mostly still 2 feet of snow everywhere and normal ground is rock solid.Found a couple spots ,not promissing on finds but at least I could dig.1 stinkin penny,1 nickel,22 shell,smith & weason 38 shell and a punisher pin.That was a perfect find because that first day out for the season was a real punisher and believe me I am feeling it now.One day it will thaw up here and hopefully I can show you guys something interesting.With all the beer caps you would think the drunks could drop a little more change? ;D

:-\ :-\ :-\ I have to agree with nash, I have been looking out my windows at the park across the street and contemplating wether to go out there and try diggin through the 2.5ft of snow or NOT !
Seems like to much work chiseling the frozen ground - COME ON MOTHER NATURE TURN UP THE HEAT A LITTLE.
