glad to see some good boxes after the past 3 weeks of skunks.......

Great scores silvercop. Hey, wait a minute. Those on board who think the coin couriers are culling silver will wonder how the sorting machines missed over 150 keepers? That darn machine must have malfunctioned. ;D

Way to go on the silver.

out of the 16 boxes 5 were skunks, 7 boxes produces 1 40% each. most of this was found in 2 of the 16 boxes, i could not believe it. guess you gotta go through some skunks to get the good stuff.

how many hours does it take from when you pick them all up, carry them in your house, sort them all, then clean up the 800 wrappers?

Re: today's 16 boxes...it's about time!!

all together i guess it takes a while. it takes me about 15 minutes during pick-up (the bank lets me use their dolley) and after i get them home and start searching i would say it takes about 5-6 hours to search the boxes, depending on if my wife helps me or not, (she has been helping me lately). and then the trip back to the dump bank takes about 45min to an hour to dump. the bag won't hold but 1K so it requires multiple bag changes during the dump.
i would say it takes longer for me to open a roll than to search it.

do you just rim search or do you look at the face of each coin?

Great job! You give me new inspiration. I've only gone through 4 of my 8 and have pulled only 4 40%. I was going to hit the beach to MD, but now I'm going to plow through the rest of the four boxes. My supplier has recently got restocked from the Fed branch in Jacksonville. Last week, there were some suspect boxes. This week it is back to normal with the CWI boxes. They have been recently stamped and inspected Feb. 3rd.
