Howdy Yaw! Just wanted to post some finds from today and my last few trips. I have a few "what is its" but will post them separately later in the other category. My last finds post was in Jan. because I've been busy.
I went to a to an old church for a little while and then went up the street to a old house. At the church I found a bunch of snaps and what appears to be an old earing. I have't cleaned them to see if there are any pat. dates or names on them. Then found some misc. stuff at the house. Not a lot of luck today. The rest are from the past few months.
The 2nd picture is some more stuff I found on the old saw mill site on my property.
The 5th picture is stuff found on property next to Fort Strother. I found my first chewed bullet and one other cool find and that is what appears to me to be a piece of a frizzen off of a flint lock and also found in the same hole was a small square rock I thought might be flint but I've never seen flint with that pinkish color but I did a search on the internet and found some similar so maybe it is. Any input is welcome.
Picture 10 and 11 items were found on property near Fort McClellan while hunting with James in Alabama and he's got some video on youtube from those days.
Picture 12 is of some items I found at a site near Hanby's Mill, I'm looking forward to getting back to.
