I enjoyed today immensely, I have been to busy to hunt very much lately. I dug the silver ring a foot or so from a dropped 3 ringer and a eagle cuff button was close to it as well. Enjoy the pics. Tsgman

No battlefield, but a camp area, It's possible a small skirmish may have occured there? I got started this morning around 10am and I was done by about 3:30pm. It was pretty warm, around 85 today and I got a lot of sun. It was a good workout.

It was HOT wasn't it ? I can't believe how humid it got. I dirt fished for a short hunt. Just a couple of .69's, but I forgot the water so I wasn't out too long.

Civil, I think it was from that period, it appears to be very worn. I read that it was popular in those days for the soldiers to wear a sweetheart ring on their little finger. This is the 3rd womans sized ring I have dug in these camps. So maybe that was a popular thing to do after all. Take care. Tim
