2 Schools + 1 Park in 6.5H = 74 coins and misc. jewelry

Quickened my swing and increased the swath of my coil sweep at the risk of missing the "whisper" signals but my goal was to achieve a 100-coin day total...

74 coins managed. 36-S wheat, .925 women's silver trinkett (slipper), antique ring WITHOUT the jewel and a Saint Christopher silver medallion.

The St. Christoper medallion depicts Poseidon and his trident (minus a prong) protecting a surfer which doesn't suprise me since the beach is only a 10 minute walk from the park.

I have not had a 100 coin day in 2007. I had 118 in 2.5H at a school in Palos Verdes once.

Got about an hour in today at our local school. Not a 100 or even a 74, still my best 14 mems. 7 rosies, 2 jeffs and 2 qtrs. Bongo

I have a dfx so this year I have had several 100 coin days. I average 25 coins per hour on a good day.....so if I am out 4 hours usually equals 100 coins. With the dfx I have a lot of good days!

I think my biggest clad total was 268 in one day last summer but I also had a 218 day in 4-1/2 hours search time yesterday, a good day!!

One of my detecting buddies and I searched a private golf club several weeks ago. Total 1 day coin total was 540.

That's a lot of holes.

My best coin total for one day is about 43....approx. 33 of which were found within a 20 foot by 20 foot radius.
