Today's CW Treasures - Kepi-size Confederate Infantry Script button

I made it out today for a few hours here in NC and managed to have a good hunt. I found another axe. (makes two for this spot) Unfortunately its broken. I managed to find the back half about 4 feet away. I also found a few bullets - 1 appears to be a CS Charleston Arsenal High Base and what I think may be a little wax seal? I wish my camera took better close up photos, but it has the picture of a rose on it. My find of the day was the kepi-size (13mm) British-made Confederate Infantry "Old-English I" button. (thanks TheCannonballguy for the ID) I hope that everyone has a great holiday! HH

I'm very jealous of your button. I have a deep longing to find CW relics. Congrats on such a nice find.
