Today's finds and a gift
I was finally able to get out and hunt today and it was a good one in my book.
I found an Eagle cuff button with a "Waterbury Button Co." backmark, 32 caliber pinfire casing, 32 caliber round ball and a 32 caliber bullet.
But, I was outdone by my buddy! He found a fireman's medallion, an Eagle cuff button and a CONFEDERATE ARTILLERY coat button!! I have yet to find a Confederate button in over 35 years of detecting.
I reckon he felt sorry for me because he gave me the Fireman's medallion.
I didn't get pictures of his finds today but we are going back tomorrow and I will get some then.
I hope to find some info on the medallion.
