Today's finds at Lake Massabesic

Went for a few hours to Lake Massabesic by my house and managed to walk away with a couple of silver dimes ;D, old ones too. Also found a weird object...that'll need some researching, and the usual clad. All and all a productive hunt! (a bit chilly though hehe) hope everyone else is doing well too :headbang:.

Nice dimes! The porcelain looks to be an insulator for electric wire, its cracked where one style had a groove but i don,t see a taper or shoulder on edge of fracture.

That is a wire insulator use in older homes. I am not sure when they stoped using them. Great coins.don't drink and drive you might spill your drink
