Today's Finds.... Sterling Army Navy Award Pin

I went out with Lee and Larry today and checked out a huge empty lot that used to be an old school. Right off the bat Lee found a silver washington quarter.... a true rarity to find on public property around here!

I finished the day with 6 wheats, 5 memorials, and one clad quarter. I also got this neat pin which Lee informed was an Efficiency Pin given to those working in the factories that were in the Army or the Navy.

The back reads "Army Navy Production Award Sterling" and it's about 1" in width. Not too big.

Nice find, I dug a "son in service" pin from ww2 that was sterling.

Nice find. I thought I had seen a number of Military artifacts in museums while I was in, but I have never seen that one.
