Didn't find much today. It was my first time hunting with the Fisher F75. It's a light machine. Found the bullet and later the large cent. Can't read the front of the coin but the back is similar to design from 1796 to 1807. Found a 1798 near the same area this past winter. Happy hunting.

I feel like every time I do peroxide it takes detail away from the coin. I guess with this I have nothing to lose.

Should be OK, you can control time.

How long do you let it soak? Coins also seem very dry afterwards. What can be put on the coin?

Never seemed that dry to me, if worried, add olive oil, after
