Re: Timing is EVERYTHING!

Awesome. I hear many stories about the top 10 inches or so scraped and then finding coins at like 4-5 inches deeper yet. This is proof that coins are slipping beyond where detectors can reach currently. It is frustrating to know that sweet coins like those are just out of our reach. It gives me hope that with a little technology to increase depth, we may be able to eventually pick those deep coins out.

Great finds - nice job pouncing on that tear up. I am the same way - more than once I have been out digging a sidewalk in my work clothes or a tie . . .

Re: Timing is EVERYTHING!

Nice Finds and congrat on getting there on time. I have just had something similarily happens to a baseball diamond and it was also used as a fair grounds. Went by there this morning and saw three large trucks. Don't know if they are picking up the dirt piles or going to lay new sod. Find out later this afternoon.

Re: Timing is EVERYTHING!

Very Cool. Glad you at least got to hit it once. I bet you are sick thinking about all the good coins they are covering up. :P

Some nice Barbers there. ;D
