Todays finds

Went out for a couple hours and didn't do to bad. I visited an old homestead down? the road. It has never been detected as far as I know. I found 3 pennies, 1 was a 1916 wheatie, a 1950 nickel, an old Derringer Cap Gun, Huger Horseshoe, a couple 30 caliber rifle shells, an old international emblem, and a few old mason jar caps that are glass. There was alot more junk, but nothing that was worth taking a picture of.

Realy some nice finds Brink, any clue to the age of the derringer?

Thanks Jarman, I am guessing 40's or 50's. It takes the old square bullets with the silver tipped paper caps, from what I read.

I'd keep on pounding that spot, looks to have some potential.
