Before Going Hunting Today,
WhitesPa & I decided to take a walk
up a mountan side to where a Church stood in 1875.
Although we didn't find any sign of it
I Think we at least Found the General area.
Must have been Wooden with No Foundation.

On the way out we Spyed this

After Hammering & Pulling & Chipping away we Got it out

It's Obvious Somone Hammered it into the Branch

We Then went to the Park we've been Hitting.

we are there. I'd say somones Huffing spot in the 60's, 70's ?

Interesting finds Jeff!! Honest Abe must have paassed through there to inspect the Navy and tried to split a rail. Quite unusual finds. HH.

Yes it is actually a WILCOX Randy the First Half is worn
the Oval Circle that had it in is still Visible.

It's 10" Over all in length

As far as Replacement.

Thanks But I think I'v repaired it enough to use.

I Prefer a 2 Footer when Using a Digger though.but Lately have just been using a Blade
like this.

The Stains on the Handle & Damage Give it character & a Story :wink:
