$70 in dimes -1-1968 canadian and 2 extra dimes for a pure profit! lol
$52 in nickles - 1-1945s and 13-pre-60's
$13 in pennies - 5-wheaties from 40-50's, 10 canadian and $3.66 in copper

Check the Canadian dime with a magnet to see if it's silver. If its magnetic, it's not silver.
If you've already done this,
Super congratulations!

No one wants to answer lol

Some people keep them because they think they will rise in price, and it's (rumored) that they can be sold on the Bay for a small profit.
This is just my opinion. I'm sure some hve sold for profit, I haven't. I do though have a sandwich bag full, and I also have STOPPED taking pre 60s out of circulation.
I hope this helps.

There are some low mintage nickels pre 60 that are worth $.50-$15. I went through all of the nickels and found 4 low mintage nickels and in total theyre worth a couple bucks. Its like finding silver except its a numistic value.
