Nice finds! My poor nickel book from when I was a kid only has 6 in it...Might need to try some nickels myself....

Killerwine, my book only has 3 war nickels in it, and the rest are all duplicates.

With the price of silver up I have just started hunting nickle rolls. So far I have found 4 war nickles all 1943Ps. Good luck with your hunting.

Nice finds Pennyworth, especially the silver. The D's (43, 44, 45) are the lowest mintages of the silver series so it's always a bonus to find one.

Love finding 1950's like that. There's always anticipation that there may be a D on the back.
