Tonite's farmhouse finds

This afternoon i hunted a 1919 farmhouse yard. It had a fieldstone foundation and is occupied.
I thought it may be older, but looked like a candidate for silver. I tend to cherry pick silver when I hunt a front yard, as I like to hunt lots of yards and get a feel for what's there.
Another dateless SLQ, and a '43 merc that I gave to the homeowner, who was tickled pink! (His birthdate). Had to talk him out of keeping the quarter, I know he wanted it.....but ya can't give it all up!
Owner told me where the "original" home sat, and where the help's home used to be. And the old dump out back....I might be going back, with a full battery this time! FFD

Josh, the quarter was 5-6" in packed soil. At that depth copper and silver sometimes give the same readings on my machine. I go by ear first. I tend to pass over a lot of signals when I'm out "pickin", and that's why I can end up with the silver coins and copper within the first hour, if it's a new spot.
