Topped last year's silver totals

Hey everybody. Its been a while since I posted any finds. I havent really had any earth shaking moments so I have just let the Etrac beep and I dig. Last year after getting my Etrac ( I am still thankful to GOIO for letting me try his out for a week), my silver finds took off. I ended up with 60 silvers with 80% being found from the end of September til the end of December. This year after the permafrost melted and I was able to get out and hunt the silver kept flowing. Yesterday I found my 60th silver which was a 1916 merc (no d), then found 2 more after that. I also found my 272nd wheatie. Hopefully they will keep coming. I hope this weekend doesnt wash out, if it does I will just hit the casino and try to take some of their money. TMAN...

Amazing T-Man!!   :icon_king:

Yeah, like Mark, I thought I was doing well, too......... :-\

I bought an E-Trac a while back, but I found I'm more comfortable with the SE. The E sits unused for the most part....

You definitely have it mastered!

If my calculations are correct (and they probably aren't), it will take me about 32 years to catch up to you, at the rate I'm going.

Fantastic. lol.

Congratulations T-Man, you are THE man. I hope we can get a hunt in one of these days again.

Re: Topped last year's silver totals

Sweeetness TMAN! I think we all probably go through a similar experience when we learn our machines and learn how to research and hunt locations. I surpassed my 2008 yearly totals about a month ago... last year I think I had about 10 silver for the year. This year I wasn't waiting around to get started and got to plucking silver from the ground in January :) I think I'm up to 16 now.

Congrats on your continued success with the E-Trac.

I was just looking at your HOARD again TMAN and was wondering where all your war nickels are? All that silver and no nicks? If you found them you'd count them right?

Hey Brett, I aint found a war nickle this year. If I did I probably wouldnt count it as a silver but thats just me. I am assuming they will ring up higher. Some of the areas that I hit are trashy so I just hunt for the high tones and dig em. TMAN...
