I would say that there are more than a few that have made and still make a living at it................. It is not easy to do ......... But as you know from reading the posts on the treasure forum's most do it as only a hobby ..........

Do people do this as a job? Can you? That would be one of the best jobs in the world.

Only if you are independently wealthy or have an unusual gift getting people to invest HUGE sums of money to you. Treasure hunting is attempted by many and only successful for a VERY few. The laws surrounding treasure recovery will take a team of lawyers (and more money) and the location you can search are almost zero within 50 miles of the US.
