thats what im looking at too, not sure what the world would
or could do if the covid-19 fire can keep reigniting

what worries me is the Keys are letting people in that own second homes..heard there were 20 tests kits set up in Marathon...plus workers from the mainland are still coming down ????????
My solution is hiding from this thing for a while.
When we do (eventually) go out, we HAVE to be super protective of our space, what we touch,
wash wash wash. They're saying when you been out there in it,
shopping, in public areas, if working, remove your shoes before entering your home,
take your clothes off, put them in the clothes hamper,
and take a shower!
Talk about primordial soup swamp... :BangHead:

If you're on twit ter of fb, follow desantis and your local sources,
so you'll have that heads up on what they're doing.
One of those Miami mayors, someone said to the residents there,
"Just presume everyone you see has it".
Yeah, that's reassuring... :BangHead:

Well , there goes my hiding in the hamper trick.......

We sure have some low life's in our city.

Most grocery stores reserve the first hour of shopping for people over 60, pregnant women, and those with health issues. The local news has reported that several "senior citizens" have reported that when they leave the store and begin to unload their cart into their vehicle, they are being held up and their supplies taken. :censored:

Kemper, once a troll always troll.

Get your butt shot in Florida that way.

Only a matter of time here before a crook gets shot.
Our gun law is much like Florida.
Just a few days ago our governor announced that anyone with a permit set to expire can relax as she has extended them. :hello2: Not sure what the process for those new people wanting one is. That I imagine will be delayed ?

Binge watching TV in the rain here. Detecting a private permission tomorrow I guess. Don't want my rear to permanently attach to the couch.

Well smokey... you did open the door on that one. :)

The regular flu is something for people over 60 to think about and try to prevent. It’s an under reported and accepted means of death.

Something that is multiple times more contagious and apparently as equal or multiple times more deadly...that’s a no brainer!

Doesn’t matter what you think about the world’s reaction. This just brought awareness.

Ya wash your gloves so you can reuse them.

We should be implementing respect for our elders, not being around them when we are sick..taking just a small amount of additional precautions. To those people at risk..it’s against your grain, but ask a youth to do some shopping for you. At the very least LET them do something for you by accepting that offer. You can take advantage of the situation by passing on some knowledge while your at it. Just keep your distance and wipe their germs away as soon as they leave.

Another thing to watch out for is price gouging.

Just back from getting a loaf of bread.....

The second store I went to had zero loaves on their shelves. A very elderly lady asked what I was looking for, told her and she came back with a loaf. The guy at the register charged me almost $5.00 for a loaf, and told the old gal not to get any more bread for anyone else....

I posted about this in another thread just now....

PRICE GOUGING!

I’m going to be making some bread as soon as what I got runs out.
My grandma made over a dozen loaves a day as a youth by hand..figure I can learn to do the same.
Was going to buy a bread making machine. Month ago, but could not bring myself to drive the hour to a large town that would have one in stock. Wish I had for now.

Got flour, salt, sugar, flour, and oil...dang it..forgot a bread pan.

People are coming down here from NY and other places after being told they have to shelter in place... friggin morons.

TThats ok... if you do you are mandatory shelter in place for 14 days. heh

And if they don't it is a criminal offense.

I wear a mask and rubber gloves every time I go to the grocery, just to be safe

Covid 19 is really alarming, everyone can get infected. There is no vaccine yet so we should all be careful

Doctors / healthcare workers are asked to "re-use" PPE (personal protection equipment) because of shortages.

which begs the question of "whats next" ?

Are they going to ask us to re-use toilet paper because of shartages ? ? ?
