Turtle Sign in NY

I know where there is one here in south cent.N.Y lots of glens around here anyone eles see any?
could the turtle sing be indian never heard of any signs like that around here..... been woundering for 50 years what that Turtle sign is all about any help thanks

Most turtle monuments will point you to the next item of interest. (either with the head, tail, leg/flipper) Could be a campsite, water hole, or something hidden. Good Luck! Have fun and be safe.
