Since I got first pick of The Guru's Paterson collection there have been more stoneware pieces added than bottles from other sources. With that in mind I went to Etsy the other day, much to my delight one buyer had 2 Paterson bottles I needed in his listings. I had to talk him into breaking up a group of three NJ crown tops to get the Henry Mueller bottle, which took a couple of days, but I'm very happy to have acquired it.

Henry Mueller was at 7 Cross St. from 1901-1911, then he relocated to 17-19 White St. from 1912-14. While you're probably not excited or surprised by a 8 oz. tooled aqua crown top as I am, because until now only hutches from him have been documented on the NJ Bottle Forum website, so it's a big deal to me and other Paterson collectors.

As for John Salandi I am also excited to add this early footed seltzer, Salandi has the distinction of being at the most number of different locations as a bottler of seltzer in Paterson. Thru the years he was at...
51 Washington St. 1887
50 Washington St. 1888-90
50 Matlock St. 1891-92
39 Matlock St. 1893-94
501 Marshall St. 1897-
16 Lane St. 1900-05
22 Garrison St. 1906
10 N. 4th St. 1907
30 Temple St. 1908-09

and this is the first one of his seltzers I've ever seen, a top will be added from a non Paterson seltzer to make it complete...

'Love the seltzer! I've only ever found one large deep true blue fragment of one. And I agree, they need the top to look right, especially if they're footed.

Very nice additions....I always appreciate you adding a little history of the merchants and bottlers.
