Went out with Fishstank to a few spots he had permission on and dug a couple of wheats. One a 1918, but in pretty bad shape. Also dug a buckle, and a button that reads 'Englander make' or 'Englisher make'. Can't quite make out the last few letters. Also found an AZ tax token laying right on the surface.
After that I went into downtown Phoenix and went to a couple of lots. Dug 2 V nickels from one lot. One is 1 1905 and the other is a very worn 1900. Never dug 2 in one day before. Also dug a variety of metal buttons. One button has the older shank on it but is a solid white button.
All in all a pretty good day.

That looks to be a site that needs hit a couple more times. Maybe with a 12 inch coil if you find that much keeper stuff.

good luck and let us know what else you find there

thanks for sharing with us

Hey AZmetaldetector,

Did you dig that 1918 at the first place or the second and what did you use to clean the buckle.

I found a buckle at that old farmhouse one day and would like to clean it up.

It was fun hunting with you. We'll have to do it again?

Dug the 1918 wheatie at the second site with the buckle and the tax token. I just tumbled the buckle. Cleaned up nicely!
