I was at an old homesite this week that i found on google earth, and got some nice keepers! I got a pretty good signal next to the foundation and recovered a nice complete pewter spoon labeled " ROGERS & BRO GER. ". Right underneath it, I pulled out my first blob top bottle! Its nothing special, but a blob is a blob , and I'll take it!! The weirdest find of the day was this cast iron sculpture.... What the heck is it? I could definitely use some help on identification. Thanks! HH

I think your spoon was a silver plated copper spoon. That decor looks like it is from a chest or dresser maybe even hung on a door, its was just decoration.
Keep @ it and HH !

I agree that the spoon was probably silver plated copper, probably the fork too. Perhaps the iron sculpture is part of a fence railing or finial? Nice bottle!

Looks like a copper-alloy based spoon, rather than pewter.

Nice Old stuff,
the Rogers is probably 'german silver' (goes by a lot of other names too),
it's a copper/nickel alloy, reads low like pewter.
some of the early plated pieces were brass/copper, your ears will tell you.
I got some forks & knives in your fork pattern, if I recall the maker is 'Community' :icon_scratch:

Iron piece may been from an old gas lamp.
