Very nice old button...needs ID...any help?

I was On the back side of the confederate line hunting today..dug a few bullets and a piece of grape shot. Along with this button. Trying to date it. Back mark
is (Firmin and sons* london* Strand)

Any help from the button experts would be great. I'll also post in what is it forum .

I think that back mark dates around 1800 or just before, Firmins were a reputable button manufacturer in London for many years. Lots of info available from trusty ole google
