Just got my Pro Pointer and I love it....I had a Pistol Probe but like the Pro better. I haven't tried the Vibra though..........

Pro pointer is the first thing i strap on for a day out. Can't beat it IMO. Not tried the Vibra probe, but from the bumf i've read it might be good for water detecting. :dontknow:

I ordered the Garrett, I have yet to read any real significant negatives on it other than the no volume control.

i have both and like the propointer much better, now if i plan on submerging the PP in water then i bring the vibra probe. congrats on your propointer purchase, put a piece of electrical tape over the speaker to keep dirt out and this will also quiet the pinpointer down some.

I choose the vibraprobe, It's great for water AND no lights or noises for the night hunters.I wear hightop boots(snakes) and it fits right in the top I have not used the belt holder ever.
