Got this today at a sale for $5 and have been looking and cant find another out there like it. If anyone has info on it I thank you.

The assets of Middlebury Clock Co were bought by the Globe American Corp in June 1938. So I think it should predate that. If there are any patent numbers on it you could search that to get a better idea of its' age.

Could also maybe use it for a trolling motor on your fishing boat if it has the power you say. Heck there may be little of those left around to compare. To me it looks like an item that would sure get some buyers interested. No telling what they'd spend to have it? I like it!
