I picked this up today for $3 at the scrapyard. I didn't even want to pay over $1 but i'm a sucker for gold i guess. From what ive researched, it is a "MOS RAM memory for Unisys UTS-20 terminal from 1976-7 with a capacity of 64Kwords with parity divided into 4 banks of 16Kwords." I intend to put it on ebay instead of recover the precious metals myself. Any opinions on the value or what id be lucky to get would be appreciated along with how much gold this board might contain so i can price it to where me and the buyer both make money. It weighs 1.36 pounds. Opinions?

I wouldn’t think there would be a lot of gold in a single circuit board. Recycled boards can supposedly yield 500 grams of gold per ton of circuit boards, so if your board follows that ratio, at 1.36 pounds of board the potential recovery is 0.34 grams of gold, or about $20 worth. Just looking at the board I’m guessing it would actually be even less than that.
