HAY! Someguy: (March 21 3:40 )
I have already Threatened to shoot it out with FEMA! >:( (during a PUBLIC MEETING)
::) So! What's one or two more Federal agencies ? ::)
Heck!
Haven't I already been "visited!" :o (Twice!, which reminds me, WHY! Was "The Visit" removed from the Forum?")
But!
My interests, at the present, are not along that line (WTX.site) !
I have a couple of other much more promising & profitable sites!

Well!
Let's see!
I found a nice little coin cache from a stage robbery.
It was "Right" on the Az/NM Border !
I had been looking for it for a long time!
Everytime I would pass by,
I would stop off, and camp in the canyon for a few days!
I'd, "break out" the detector and proceed to CHECK OUT & around, EVERY DARN Boulder from camp to the "spring" !
I almost gave up !
When on the "Last ?" day, I got that good old "Zing" !
For about the "Jillionth Time" !
Almost don't dig it!
But! Anyway....
I am back home THIS time! to load up my portable core drill, that I decided not to take along..
If I take IT! I don't need/use it!
If I don't take it,
Darn if I don't need it!
This time!
When I am though, I am going to leave it in Gilbert, AZ.,
'bout a thousand miles closer to where the action is !

Average date? ;D
I'll have to figure that out! ::)
One of the coins was a 1834...one was 1854, another one was ...
The cache was found near/at/around/from, the western end of the "Pass" ..
In a Canyon, a few miles north of "The Pass" and near, about 200 yds west, of the "spring" ("Spring" that was mentioned in the story/legend)!
I was camped about 1/2 mile west of "The Spring" at the entrance of the Canyon where the "Spring " Is located!
This upcoming "trip",
I'll be, I hope! Opening up a Spanish Treasure Tunnel, it's in an old Spanish mine !
After FIVE YEARS of Field work,
I know where it is located..
The CATCH? ;D
I just need some stout hearted TH'ers along for "Security"!
:-\ AND! THAT'S the CATCH! :(

Capn, if I was a little younger, and no kids, I'd be there just for the adventure! As it is now, I have to wait til he's ready to fly the coop before I take off on these types of adventures again... Ah well, its worth it though, good kids are worth it!

See ya in ten years!

Hey Cptbil,
Howabout a few pics to give encouragement to those of us who are not as resourceful as you ?! LOL

As for your request for assistance please email or PM me the individuals qualifications you seek, logistics involved in the proposed project, projected timeframe of operations, details of known dangers involved etc. I have read some of your previous posts and have some idea of what this will entail.

Good Luck,
Mike in SC

Yes!
I know that you are free to go (ftg) and willing ! ;)
AND !
I am counting on you as "One of The Few!", for the trip!
But!
It is going to take more than just the "Two" of us!
I would like to have atleast two more along!
Two for Camp!
Two for the trip to the Mine Tunnel!
It's hard to find someone who is willing to use a weapon to defend the camp and ourselves!
AND!
I am REALLY, SERIOUS, as you know & aware of the conditions down there,

About that "Using" part !
